This site does one narrow thing: it records what prop trading firms publish about their own discounts, on their own pages, with the date each page was read.
That sounds modest next to the sites it competes with. Several of them advertise “149+ codes across 97 firms” and discounts “up to 90% off”. Nobody can verify a claim like that from outside, because verifying it would mean buying challenge accounts at ninety-seven firms and watching what each code actually deducts. This site has not bought any, so it does not make the claim.
What is actually checked
Each firm’s own public pages are opened and read, and the discount language on them is recorded word for word along with the date. If a firm advertises a code on its homepage, that is a first-party fact and it goes in with its source and its date. If a code for that firm circulates only on affiliate sites, the page says exactly that and does not repeat a percentage this site cannot stand behind. That distinction — who issued the code — is the whole reason the site exists, and you can read how it plays out on first-party versus affiliate codes.
Reading a page is not the same as testing a checkout, and the difference matters enough to state twice. A code printed on a firm’s homepage is evidence that the firm advertises it. It is not proof of what it takes off the price. No code recorded here was applied at a checkout, and nothing on this site should be read as a promise about what you will pay.
What that method catches
It catches things the bigger lists miss, because they are only visible if somebody actually reads the page. One firm’s banner advertised “up to 50% off” while its own price table, directly underneath, priced every single product at 30% off. Another published two different expiry dates for the same code on one page. Five of the sixteen firms checked published no discount code at all, although third-party pages list codes for several of them. Those findings are set out in the firm-by-firm record and in how prop firm discounts actually work.
Who writes it
Ingrid Solberg writes and maintains this site. The work is reading pricing pages, offer banners and terms, recording what they say on the day they are read, and saying plainly when something could not be confirmed. There is no newsroom here and no claim of one.
Independence
This site is not a prop trading firm, is not owned by one, and is not affiliated with any firm named on it. Some outbound links may earn a commission. That funds the research and changes nothing about what gets written: no firm pays for placement, for a rating, or to be left out. The firms with no published discount are listed exactly as prominently as the ones with the largest.
Corrections
Offers change weekly, and some of what is recorded here will go stale. If a figure is wrong, out of date, or you can show a code behaves differently at a real checkout, write to feedback@propdiscountguide.com and say which page and which figure. Corrections are made on the page itself, and the “checked” date moves when they are. More on how to reach the site, and what to include, is on the contact page.
